So, I have noticed that very often gay men and lesbians are at odds with each other. This is not a hard fast blanket statement, just a generalization. I am curious as to why this is. I guess Im an oddity. I do not have any close lesbian friends and my best friends are a gay male couple (prob why Im not getting any, hard to score when you only hang out with two gay guys, lol :) Actually, my best friends say I exhibit the characteristics of a gay man more than that of a lesbian (besides the sleeping with women thing). Im full of snarky comments, love to look fabbbuulllouuus, and am a fan of sleeping around (as long as no one is in a relationship) while my gay friends act so much more like lesbians. They are a total u-haul couple, moving in together after the first week, always need to talk about their feelings (ick) and couldnt care less about what they wear. We are kind of a melding of both worlds, which is why our relationship works. I guess I understand the conflict in theory, but was just wondering your thoughts on the subject.
