Why do so many Lesbians perhaps ignore the femine or perhaps ignore their masculine inclinations for this androgynous look and lifestyle?
The loneliest Lesbians i know fall into androgyny.
Are their benefits to not expressing from the feminine or the masculine?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I can sport boxer shorts and a hat one day looking like a skally-wag and look like a femme-bot the next day. Variety is the spice of life Den mother....lol, any one like it really spicy?
I've never put on a great deal of makeup. I never got into mom's makeup when I was little. I never liked wearing dresses, and to this day, I can never figure out how to style my hair.
So I'm pretty comfortable now the fact that I am never going to be a girly girl. That said, I still see myself as a woman. There are parts of me that are still very feminine, and I accept those parts. Now that I'm older, I do like to look like a woman. I like to wear skirts, I like to wear makeup, and I like to beg my friends and my mom to do SOMETHING with my hair so I don't look like I just crawled out of bed every day. I have a need to look attractive, and that is a very feminine aspect, I think.
But I'm not looking for someone butch. I have an attraction to women. I want a woman who looks and acts like a woman, even though I would prefer it if she were 'the top'.
I think the same goes for a lot of lesbians, just like gay men tend to prefer masculine men, we tend to prefer feminine women.
