Kleptomania Support Group
Kleptomania is an inability to resist impulses of stealing. A person with this disorder is compelled to steal things, generally things of little or no value, such as pens, decorative pins, or wall decorations. They are often unaware of performing the theft until some time later. If you are suffering from kleptomania, join the group and get support.

My daughter steals everything. I have taken her to talk to a police officer, and even had her in a program that allowed an officer to come to the school and spend an hour a week with her.
She takes money, food, toys, clothes, and I can't even tell you what my mother said when she tried to steal at the store. I've never stolen anything and I don't understand where this is coming from. Any suggestions, any advice would be helpful.

maybe it's an OCD problem...I would take her to a counselor just to see what they say...other than that...just be strong and let her know you're there for her.
