Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Support Group
Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.

I've had IBS-type symtpoms for almost 5 months now, on a daily basis. Tests haven't shown anything, and someone told me recently that I could be suffering from a systematic yeast infection. I looked it up and I sure do have a LOT of the symptoms... I hadn't been on antibiotics, that I remember, but I read that it could also be brought on by continuous stress and poor diet (which I was guilty of). Has anyone else found this to be an explanation for their symptoms? If so, have you tried Threelac? It seems to get a lot of positive reviews for flushing out the yeast, I'm thinking of trying it...

Reading about Yeast causing my IBS put me on the path to getting better. I learned a lot about supplements and eating habits to help. I'm now 60% better being gluten free, that was the next step.

My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
