I saw an earlier post that touched on the subject but I was curious if others have had an experience with these two issues and what type of treatment worked for them. Previously, during a high stress period, I had a terrible bout with IBS which resulted in a sensitivity reaction to pretty much everything that I ate. Some would say it is the flight or fight syndrome. I tried Prevacid to help with gas reduction and found it to help initially but caused more issues. However, I was put on Lexapro to help with the stress/anxiety (not depressed) and found that it had worked pretty well to make me less sensitive. I came off of it last Aug/Sept and unfortunately have had another bout of the IBS type reaction that I assume is associated with stress and anxiety. So I am attempting to start back on the Lexapro while occasionally taking a xanax as needed. Enough about me though, Does anyone have any experience in this area? As I have been thinking I am crazy and the standard DR has not been helpful, "its all in your head" thing..

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
