Anybody from Birmingham, Al who knows a great GI md? I have had IBS for over 20 years and it is worsening each year no matter what drug or treatment or doctor I try. I hoped gastric bypass in Aug would help my symptoms...but...NO! Now my situation is even more precarious--more nausea-more diarrhea-more cramping and more back pain-and a myriad of other symptoms. What good is the weight loss -if the only people I have to share it with is the blue and red bears on the front of the toliet paper package--BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE I LIVE--the bathroom!(Humor is all we have left) I have had a colonoscopy 1 1/2 yrs ago---and have been tested for everything from Celiac to Crohns. This is negatively affecting every aspect of work -family-and any remaining social life I was trying to hold on to. Like I have to tell anybody here that!!!! Is Birmingham in the house?????

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
