I have been reading about IBS and found that most of what I read says that IBS D and cramps do not occur overnight. Meaning that with IBS you do not wake up from sleeping with these symptoms. Do any of you have IBS D and cramps at night? I'm curious because I was diagnosed with IBS as a teen and subsequently diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at age 30. I believe I have both so its hard for me to know if my current symptoms are mild UC or IBS. I have been suffering with bad D and cramps overnight about 1 night a week alternating with constipation for about 4-5 days. I would think it was IBS except that the pain and D occur overnight. Any input would be appreciated!
