Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Support Group
Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.

Hi all,
Thought i'd let people in the UK know about this. This isn't spam and i'm not working for themand not selling anything..just trying to help out fellow UK IBS people.
We have a scheme in the UK called RADAR. They provide a key for 7,000 disabled toilets in the UK.
I have to plan my journeys around public toilets 'cos of my IBS-D and was disgusted by most of the loos in railway stations and on the streets. Blood on the walls from heroin users, all sorts of nasty stuff on the floors and seats and sitting there reading the graffiti on walls and seeing 'BE HERE AT 11AM FOR BIG BOY FUN', then looking at my watch and noticing it was 10:45 done absolutely nothing to help my anxiety when my bowels were hurting.
This got me thinking how you use the disabled loos and I found out about RADAR.
To be honest, I'm glad I did. The disabled toilets are locked, cleaner and much much less used.
They do charge 3.50 plus VAT (if you are not registered as disabled) for the key but it's been a real worthwile spend.
Of course, there's nothing to stop a drug user buying a key as you don't have to prove that you have a disabilty to get one.
If you live in the UK, go get one and ease your mind about filthy public toilets.
Get the key from http://radar-shop.org.uk/Detail.aspx?id=0
Hope this helps,
Stu

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
These loos are very private too, as there is only one in the locked room.
I was worried that another key user could just open the door and walk in, but you lock it from the inside so nobody else can come in.
Private is good as it's embarrasing sometimes when you know someone is sitting in the next stall and your bowels are howling like a wounded wolf...lol.
