Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Support Group
Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.

Well, after trying many things for my IBS, I decided to try Citracel before I filled a prescription for that new drug, amitizia. I have heard many bad things about that drug, incuding a co worker that was rushed to the ER within 30 minutes of taking it!! So, I thought I would try taking Citracel beofre each meal. I have read about soluble fiber being the first thing in your stomach at every meal, so I decided to go for it... and I am happy to report that it is working!!!!! I have not been bloated at all and have been going to the bathroom quite regularly!! Citracel is recomended for constipation and diarrhea... so if you want to try it, here is some more info... http://www.healingwell.com/library/ibs/article.asp?author=vanvorous&id=1

I have just started it- like two days ago- and am happy to hear it works for you. I don't know if I have been on it long enough to really see change yet, but I don't feel as crampy! Also the taste is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be!!! I tried other sups and they made me throw up so I was really worried- but I actually don't mind this!!! :) Maybe something that will work for me!!!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
