I first was diagnosed with ic in may 2005.I haven't been treated very much since then due to no insurance,except at the er.But I have an appointment with this new docotr on thursday,because the pain is getting unbearable.I can't do things I used to,I do not want to have sex,which is driving my husband mad.Any advice on a pain medicine I should get the doctor to give me?I can not take asparin,ibuprofen,or anything like that,especially goody powders,because i have had 3 egd's done in 9 months due to ulcers and gerd.The only thing I know has helped has been lortab and lorcet.
