Interstitial Cystitis (IC) Support Group
Interstitial Cystitis (IC) is a urinary bladder disease of unknown cause characterised by pelvic and intense bladder pain, urinary frequency (as often as every 10 minutes), and pain with urination. It is not unusual for patients to experience nocturia and pain with sexual intercourse. IC is also known as painful bladder syndrome (PBS), particularly outside of the USA.

Along with IC.. I have severe chronic nerve pain.. in the pudendal nerve... one or the other causes severe constant rectal pain... along with the whole pelvic area pain. Does anyone else suffer this?

yes, I also swell up around my colon area when it's time to have to go to the bathroom (#2), which I am unable to do only MAYBE once a week... I am still going to get my colon tested (colonoscopy) later this month to make sure everything is alright with my colon (we don't want to have any more misdiagnosisis) Once diagnosed with IC, thats what everyone wants to blame ALL of your pain on, get to know your body and the different types of pains, when they happen, and so on... so you can discuss it with your doc to see if it should make you want to undergo any other testing
