Okay so my 28 year old husband was just diagnosed with IC this morning and he has been suffering from it for about 2 years. Anyway he has to go on a really strict diet and all of his favorite foods are GONE. And he is so frustrated, with good reaso. Anyway I am trying to find good recipes to make for him, becasue I'm going to go on it with him (so there is no temptation what so ever). I have found some but not enough for real variety. And can you eat eggs? On this list of foods that I was given by the doc that he see's it says not to eat eggs, and some of the IC diets plans I have found call for eggs, and I read that someone eats eggs for breakfast. And can he eat homegrown tomatoes cooked, or does that bring out acid, becasue he loves Itailain foods. I'm sorry for all of the questions but I need help to make this as easy as possible for him. Poor Guy! I hate seeing him go through this. Thank you! I am so glad that I found this amazing source of support!
