At least I'm hoping so. I just started on a nutrition program. I underwent some testing called Nutritional Response Testing (from the Dr. I now work for) and He found that my bladder was causing major problems (surprise surprise), he also found that it was affecting my thyroid as well as my heart. I'd buy that. ANyway so I started on a program. The program is specific to each individual and really does help, with all kinds of things! There is a lady who had been being treated for a while here for IC as well, she has been getting significantly better! Anyway, my test also found out I was allergic to sugars, grains, and eggs-but not organic eggs. I called bull pucky on the eggs thing but bought a doz organic eggs just to see and by God he was right! Not two weeks before I'd had one regular, commercially processed egg and was sick as a dog for 4 days. But with these-nothing! I know sugars kill my ic and cause uberflares for all of us, so I'd buy that too. The grains I am having a hard time giving up but this is my first week and It may not be a permanent allergy, once we get the bladder in check. Anyway. I started the supplements, which are whole food supplements from Standard Process. Within 24 hours I felt a difference. I woke up alert, not dragging and my bladder started to flush out all the dead cells and old blood that was in there. The pain is slowlly subsiding as well. I was a tard yesterday and grabbed a redbull because i didn't have time to eat, and it kicked my ass but today I have done well with my diet. Hoping tomorrow will be much better. If you are interested in this program let me know and I can find a doctor you can get info on. This is called nutritional response (testing). The triggers are treated with diet and whole food supplements. Anyone else heard of this or tried it?
