Anit-depressants kill my bladder and cause it to flare, especially the SSRIs, but I personally am much more affected by medication than by acidic food.
I got good results from DMSO, and currently acupuncture. Immediate results, very impressive.
I take antacid every time I leave the house and sometimes like if i have to take a flexeril and i know it's a trigger. Atarax is also a trigger for me.
I think people get good results when they strip their injested variables away: like acid, sodium, and meds. Narrow the variables and see what screws u up as u add them back. FUN!!

I've been taking Paxil for years. I'm wondering now if it has anything to dfo with my IC pain.

I take Cymbalta and I think it really helps with depression and with my fibromyalgia. I would highly recommend it.

My urologist prescribed amatryptaline for I.C. It helps with the frequent urination and, also helps the anxiety that I have had since having this chronic pain. I have tried other antidepressants, I would never take them again, I hate there side affects. Were here for you anytime. Sorry to hear you have this miserable disease. I can remember being on all those antibiotics before they diagnosed the I.C. I ended up having H.pylori, taking all the abx's, Doctors can be so stupid when they don't know the diagnosis.
