I have recently started seeing a guy. He is white I am black this is my first interracial relationship and I just wanted to ask your opinion. I feel like I want to discuss the fact that we are different but I am not sure if we NEED to, hope this is making sense. The problem is that I am aware that he has had many interracial relationships before and so I don't think it has even crossed his mind that a discussion is needed. Also I am not sure what I hope to get out of it. It wont change the fact that we like each other or that we want to be together so should I just leave it? If I do bring it up any suggestions on how to do it?
I know that was a bit of a ramble but I am a little confused.

Even though this is not so new with him, it is with you. I am sure your concerns will be welcomed for discussion. He will hopefully ease your fears.
