Hmmm... ya know... Calus' post got me to thinking. He was worried that since this board is called Interfaith Relationships, that his questions on his own personal search would be considered 'off topic.'
I, for one, do not see Calus' questions as off topic because to me, interfaith relationships aren't just about the romantic relationships we might have. They include the relationships we have with family & friends as well.
Plus, I think if we open up the discussions to more than just romantic relationships we'll attract a broader range of ppl and make this a livelier place to post.
Personally, I love to discuss the differences & commonalities we all share... long as we treat each other with respect & compassion.
How do the rest of you feel about it?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Having recently experience some nastiness because of my faith on another board, I can assure you that *I* will keep an eye on things and will efinitely report anyone who does not treat everyone here with the proper civility & respect!
This is called an Interfaith board... not an Interfaith HATRED board!!! ;)
I agree - we should actually all take upon ourselves to report any disrespect.
And we should get this community to be a little more active! It's hella quiet in here! Come on people, I don't want to be able to hear the crickets...
I am a Pagan. Instead of trying to write a full term paper (LOL), I'm going to begin a new thread with a brief explanation as well as a link to further explain the term Pagan and a good deal that goes along with it. (Don't worry... the article's not that long, promise!) LOL

Feel free to ask any questions you might have. :)
Oh yeah. That's nice and common for us corrupt Catholic types. I've been told many times that I'm not even Christian because I'm Catholic. Ha... whatever.
That's why it's good to have a safe space like this to discuss religion :)
I was raised Catholic so I know the mindset that you speak of when it comes to some other Christians. After going to several churches in the area, but having had some bad experiences, My husband's studying with Jehovah's Witnesses now. He, too, gets a great deal of assumption & predjudice. And with my being Pagan... well the fun only gets "funner"! LOL
