this may sound stupid however, I go to sleep with a bill oriley on the tv. it seems the sound of a man's voice is the only thing I can fall asleep to. I have to set a timet to turn the tv off cuz if a womans voice comes on it wakes me up. The therapist says my insonomia has something to do with abuse i suffered in the middle of the night as a child.

I've used simply sleep and it didnt seem to do me any good. I use Somenix, which is over the counter as well. It seems to work, however I've noticed sometimes it doesn't kick in immeditatly using just taking one or two of the pills. I usually take three or four to get a faster result.

I looked at your page and you definetly have legitimate reasons for your insomnia, as do I, so I can relate. I just after all this time went to a sleep doctor and was given helpful advice. Some things I can change and others I can't due to my pregnancy. So for you there should be more options. If you decide not to go to a doctor, I won't mind telling you some of the advice, just write me and ask. He also did give me a relaxation CD and I do find these techniques helpful although I haven't even taken the time to listen to his CD I have done others along with yoga (also helpful)!

I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
