Over 48 hours with no sleep. My body feels numb..I get SO nervous thinking about sleep. Everyone says, " just relax, go to sleep" If it were that easy, i'd do it! My work is suffering, I am going in late, irritable, etc. This is awful. I've tried it all, too. Melatonin, tylenol PM, benadryl..my sleeping meds were working when I had them, but I ran out. Going to the doctor can be PRICEY. I would like to stay off of meds, too, if I can, but it seems now that might be the only way to go. Does anyone else feel this way? Do doctors care and take insomnia seriously?
