I have been doing this for a week so far. I discovered this while I was takeing my family to a "rustic" inn in the Blue Ridige moutains.
The inn had no tv,radio, phone or clock in the rooms.
I would doze off at night and when I woke there was NO CLOCK to look at. I would wonder what time it was and then I would doze off again. The same thing happened a few times that night. My mobile phone alarm woke me up in the morning. I felt better than normal.
ANY WAY this week I have put a shoe box over my Clock/radio so it is totally dark. I still wake up but then I doze off again.
I think I was wakeing up (at 2:16am) then getting concerned and anxious over going back to sleep so I could get up for work then I would look up and see 2:30 and the cycle would repeat itself.
Everyone I talked to says when thay wake up a night the first thing they do is look at the clock. So I removed that view. I can still hear the alarm under the bax so I still am on time.
Try this and let me know if it works.
No spell check or grammer check done because I did not want to.

Yep, insomniacs should never clock watch..seems to make matters worse and good sleepers are good sleepers because they dont think about it !!! It is hard not to think about it ofcourse as it becomes the centre of your living nights and days but maybe accepting and surrendering to the situation for now is whats required.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
