I've had insomnia on and off for the last 6 years. . . .I've been on amyltriptline and zopliclone (i have been taking 7.5 mg and sometimes 11mg a night). . . .I feel like I'm addicted to sleeping tablets. . . .I have had a really stressful 3 monhts, lost my job, moved home, split up with my boyfriend and 2 close family member have died. . . .I have actually sorted my head out about everything else. . . .but just can't sleep. . . . has anyone of you been addicted to zolpiclone, i think you call it lunestra in the states?
What did you do?
I have tried herbal tablets etc etc they don;t work. . . .but am gonna buy some melatonin today,

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. My best advice is talk to your doctor... but it sounds like to me that stress is causing your insomnia...
