I recently split up with my fiancee of 2 years.
We had a typical relationship, ups and downs etc. but i always thought we were fairly happy. We always talked about what made us unhappy and did our best to get through any problems we had.
About 9 months ago I found out that she was going on internet sites and talking to girls from the US, swapping pictures and pretending to be someone else. Someone single. She even started dating one of them online and she became increasingly distant from me.
When I confronted her, I told her that I felt this was just the same as cheating, and she agreed. She begged me to give her one more chance and I told her that the only way I could trust her was if she, temporarily, stopped going on these sites until I could trust her again. She agreed and we seemed pretty happy.
Then one night she tells me that she feels like i'm punishing her for something she didn't even do, and that what she did isn't cheating. So I told her I would leave. She has since messed my head up by telling me she misses me and wants to be with me, yet she is seeing someone else and tells other people that she hates me.
I am so confused!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Next, it sounds like there is something definitely wrong with that girl's head.
"Yes I cheated / No I didn't and you are punishing me for something that wasn't wrong. "
"I want to be with you / Hey everyone I hate gitsie88"
She is messed up.
It's not your job or responsibility to try to fix her. You don't have to give her a second, third, or fourth chance. You can wash your hands of her. In fact, I think you are very possibly lucky to get out of this relationship before things go much worse.
I recommend three things.
First, make a list of all the reasons why it is not healthy for you to be in a relationship with a person like this. Refer to the list anytime you are feeling weak.
Second, send her a message that you want no further contact with her. Then block her phone, email, social networking accounts, etc. Don't initiate or accept any contact.
Third, move on with your life, focusing on yourself, and someday you will be in a much healthier and mutually beneficial relationship.
Feel free to let this one go. Because what she is doing now? And how she is acting? She'll do it for the rest of your damned life.
