DUMB QUESTION-I OFTEN HEAR THE TERM "LOVE CHILD" USED IN REFERENCE TO AN ILLEGITIMATE CHILD (RESULT OF AN AFFAIR). WHY IS THE CHILD CALLED A LOVE CHILD, AND WHAT IF THERE WAS NO LOVE BETWEEN THE TWO PEOPLE WHO WERE CHEATING, IS THAT CHILD STILL A "LOVE CHILD." THE THOUGHT OF MY HUSBANDS ILLEGITIMATE CHILD BEING CONSIDERED A "LOVE CHILD," IS A BIT DISTURBING(NO OFFENSE TO THE CHILD). YOU WOULD THINK THE CHILDREN THAT A HUSBAND AND WIFE WHO LOVE EACH OTHER CONCEIVE WOULD BE THE "LOVE CHILD." PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND THIS. THANKS

I always thought the term meant the man and woman made love so they made a love child. I never thought it meant it was conceived out of love. I've honestly not heard the term 'that' often in my life to wonder about it much though.

THANKS SAPPHIRE-MY HUSBAND IS JUST SO HUNG UP ON THE FACT THAT HE NEVER MADE LOVE TO HER, HE JUST F*%^ED HER, BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO LOVE SOMEONE TO MAKE LOVE TO THEM. I DON'T KNOW I'M JUST WONDERING HOW THAT WORKS.

Sorry I used that term in my other post to you. I really meant it sarcastically, even though that's not fair to the child. I just think it's nicer than illigitimate and I would never call a child born from this type of relationship a bastard. Am I overthinking or over-explaining? :)

OK. I'm losing my mind. In your post "what to do", I originally referred to my friends husband's extra-marital children as "love child" but before I posted, I thought better of it b/c like you, I think that term really doesn't really apply. I'm gonna go have me a glass of wine and hopefully I will find some clarity. LOL

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
