I asked my husband to go to counseling after he admitted he had cheated numerous times during our 17 years of marriage with prostitutes---so not emotional affairs, but mainly just sexual. I was shocked. I was hurt and I was afraid that our life would come crashing down on us. He found out through counseling he had a sex addiction (the act of seeking out sex with another woman was what gave him the "high" feeling) He had to find other ways to get that feeling and now he is addicted to running, he runs almos every race that is posted on the internet and is now addicted to running. He is actually really good at it and has found something he loves to do, it also relieves stress for him from work. It is possible through counseling and hard work to change. I Just wanted to post a sucess story here for all the woman and men who might suffer from infidelity.
