First off let me say that I have always liked Barbara Walters and Oprah until yesterday. The interview on Oprah made me ill, to have 2 women who are icons for American Women, both laughing about their affairs with married men was truly a sad commentary on how little marriage is honored in our society. Barb has been married 3 times and Oprah never, so maybe they demonstrate a sad profile of our society. One woman who has given up on marriage and the other who never got it right. Barb even said she would never marry again, at least that was positive. Did anyone else notice the timing of her daughter going on drugs? it seemed to coincide perfectly with Barb's affair with the senator. Perhaps if Barb had been watching out for her daughter rather than "f'-ing the senator, her daughter might not have had lost her way. And the senator, what the hell was he thinking? so he lost the election! I am glad he lost it. What are your thoughts?
