as most here know my husband cheated and has a kid with his mistress only 4 months younger than our one and only son. the ow told me that she thought having his baby would make him choose her, eventhough she already had 3 kids by 3 different men and he told her he would never leave his family. i am truly considering sueing her for "alientation of affection." i live in n.c. i have been trying to work it out with him but i am truly considering a divorce. i'm just curious to know what you guys would do as far as the A of A goes. yes my husband should have protected himself from getting her pregnant but she admitted to me that she knew she was wrong and that she was sorry, but she thought having his baby would make him hers eventhough he told her that a baby would not make him leave us (our son and me)
i am really considering this-only thing is she has 4 kids that she can barely take care of-i guess i should not care but i don't want innocent children to suffer for the choices their whore of a mother made. what would you do? i am really considering this action.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I purchased a computer monitoring program called Spector Soft. Their website allows you to purchase and download the program and erases all traces of the installation from your computer. He'll never know it's there unless you tell him. It is somewhat cost prohibitive at $80, but to me it was worth every penny. With this program, you get a secret key sequence where you can log on and view "snapshots" of all activity on the computer. The snapshots include, email, passwords, websites visited, chat sessions, and literally everything else you need. You can even set it to record only when certain profiles log on, or just Internet activity, record only when certain words are typed, and it even can email you! Caution: only check it when you are sure that you will not be caught, only install it on a computer you own, and operate it in the stealth mode. I have 4 computers in my home and I installed it on each one as you can monitor kids activity also. Is it dishonest? I go back and forth mainly because in theory I believe people should have privacy. But at the same time my husband totally betrayed 14 years of marriage and turned into another person I couldn't recognize. In my eyes, by choosing to go outside our marriage before trying to work on it, he lost all rights to privacy. I can attest that having the information I gathered saved my marriage. He knew there was no way he could dance around his own words and caused him to re-evaluate what he wanted out of life and whether he wanted this marriage. Through counseling and medical Dr.'s it was determined that he was severely depressed and suffered from post traumatic stress from the first Gulf War. It has been a long hard road, but we are together 20 years now and happy. Do I still think about what happened? Yes. I wish when my best friend advised me to buy the program when I first had my doubts that I would have done so. The affair was emotional for a year - then got physical. But at least I did finally find out. At the rate they were carrying on, I am confident that they would still be going strong today as she made it very clear to him that she didn't care he was married, as long as she got to have "a piece of him", which I still think is very strange. Anyway, good luck to you. Sometimes a woman's got to do what a woman's got to do to maintain her sanity, family, and life.
States in which alienation of affection is possibly a viable cause of action:
Hawaii
Illinois
Mississippi
Missouri (appears recently abolished)
New Hampshire
New Mexico
North Carolina
South Dakota
Utah
[To succeed on an alienation claim, the plaintiff often must show that (1) the marriage entailed love between the spouses in some degree; (2) the spousal love was alienated and destroyed; and (3) defendants malicious conduct contributed to or caused the loss of affection. It is often not necessary to show that the defendant set out to destroy the marital relationship, but only that he or she intentionally engaged in acts that likely would impact the marriage.]
Hope it helps but just make sure you are ready for all you business to be out on the street, so to speak.
