He has PTSD from being in Iraq...so he was drinking all the time. He says he was drunk the whole time it was going on. HE swears they only met once at a hotel. I am not sure that I believe that. Plus...I think that she drove like 3 1/2 hrs to meet him....wouldn't he have come to his senses before she got there? I just don't buy the whole "I was drunk" excuse. What do you all think? Is it a viable excuse? Can drinking make you a completely different person? I know they talked on the phone and online and crap....so it is hard for me to buy the drinking thing....plus she is an old highschool girlfriend.
