I have been ttc for 8 years. The day that I decided to tell my parents that we were trying again, my brother told us that he and his wife were expecting. (It was a not expected expecting) They were clearly not happy about it. I have a hard time dealing with people that see it as a problem. He said to me "of all the rotten things that have happened this year now this!" What the hell am I supposed to say to that? I wanted to knock him out!!!! Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this? I am sure not handling right. I have my whole family mad at me. They are acting like they just don't know what to do! Hello, have that baby and love it! They just don't know how lucky they are!!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Maybe right now, when the outward signs aren't so apparent, it's hard for them to take their eyes off themselves and look at their new son/daughter. I would imagine that as she starts to really show, and feel the baby... when he can put his hand on his wife's belly and feel his son/daughter moving... it will become real to them, and then they will (hopefully) be able to appreciate what a miracle it is.
