First off, sorry for the novel I am about to type!!! Me and my DH have just been told by our fertility specialist that he has zero sperm count. We were directed to make an appt with a Urologist which we have already done. Of course the first day we found out, I was in shock and pretty much just cried all day. After the shock passed, I started to really think about my past appt's with this Dr. On our first meeting, I had blood work and an ultra sound. My DH asked if he should give a sperm sample which our Dr said was not necessary at this time. Once everything checked out okay on my part, our Dr. suggested artificial insemination. His reasoning for doing this so quickly is if this worked, I could skip taking meds such as Clomid. At this point, my DH had not yet had a sperm analysis. So we scheduled the insemination, I also had to inject Ovidrel the night before procedure. My DH was finally told to bring in a sperm sample. He was to "do his business" at home and drop it off at the office within one hour. I arrived a short time later and thats when the doctor told me about the Zero sperm count. My husband had briefly left since we were originally told it would take about 45 minutes to clean and analyze his sperm. I was alone when he brought be back to his office. He really did not give me any hope. He was not very positive that we would be able to conceive a child. He repeatedly said " I know what a blow this is." He also said he doubts there is a blockage as one sperm was visible. That was the extent of the information he gave me. Once I started crying, he left his office and said he will give me some time alone. I understand he is busy, but I would have preferred he sat there and gave me more information or even different scenarios of what to expect in future. He did not suggest another sperm sample. He just told me to have my DH see the urologist. Im seriously looking into another fertility group. I think its pretty amazing he barely met us, did a few tests and that quickly had us all figured out! I guess I'm just curious what anyone elses experiences are like with their fertility specialists. I dont want to waste anymore time with this group if there is a better one out there!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
