This might be TMI but i have to ask anyway. I had ER on Wednesday and I am still having pain when I go to the bathroom. Not burning but more of a sharp pain. When I told the nurse on thursday she said it could be just normal pain after ER from being sore, but the rest of the pain I had is gone and this has persisted. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it normal? Thanks

Hi, I didn't have this type of pain, but the thing about IVF is, everyone's bodies react differently. My advice would be, that if you are not happy with the response from the nurse ask again and again until you are satisfied. The problem is they are usually so busy that you sometimes don't know if they really heard the question or not or whether they are just telling you that because they have another 100 people waiting. The important thing is that you need to feel happy and relaxed and if you are still worried about this pain then it's impossible to relax(I am the same, I get very anxious about any weird pains)So keep pestering until you are satisfied and no longer anxious. I hope that helps. Best of luck with your cycle. I will be thinking of you.

I had pain when I went to the bathroom (especially number two). It went away about four days after ER.

I too had that pain. It was so sharp sometimes it took my breath away. I hyperstimulated and just assumed it was from that. There is hope, it does go away.

I had alot of pain when I had a bowel movement after ER. If you are concerned and not happy with the response you got from the nurse I would ask to talk to your RE. Good luck and hope this helps.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
