several months ago i had a HSG done that revealed that one of my tubes are completely blocked. my husband and i have tried adoption and for some reason that did not work out at this time. we are not giving up as that being an option for us, but i was considering sitting down with my husband having the conversation of unblocking that tube surgically. what is the name of the surgery i can not remember.....thanks for any help.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
If you tried to have them unblocked & no success, you may need to have them removed IF & ONLY you decide you wanna have kids. Are both tubes blocked? And did your dr give you other alternatives? Once I had the HSG done, I was told that I would have to do IVF. The recovery time is about 2 days depending on your pain tolerance! It was an outpatient procedure that took about 40 minutes total. It was emotional though but I knew it would help with a better success with IVF. Good Luck ladies......
