I'll have to start injectables whenever we feel like trying again, which will probably be in Jan, although the weather here is horriffic in the winter and if I'm gonna be driving 5 hrs. every other day for a while, I'm not sure winter is the best time to try....... Anyway..... Got any good news from inject's and IUI? And how bad are the shots anyway?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I am 6wk Pg and I got that way from inj. with IUI (follistim and then ovidrel). It's not bad at all. I also had no side effects.
My eggs were monitored every other day, measured for length, etc..then the ovidrel for timed ovulation, then the IUI.
It's the 2WW that's the killer.
Why do you have to drive 5 hours though!!!??? There's no place closer? Sounds dangerous in the winter, you're right.
I agree with the cold too! I was so much easeir to run out the door with wet hair and flip flops, especially since I get stuck in so much traffic and still have to get in to work. I HATE the cold! (well, I hate having to go out and about and rush in it)
But, I would still do it in January if it meant I needed to wait for Spring to arrive.
I take Gonal-f pen and Ovidrel and it's not bad and I hate needles!Good luck lots of sticky baby dust to you.
