Hi,
I'm new to this site and don't yet know anybody. I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right community? My name's Lucia and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 8 months now. I know that isn't that long compared to some of you, and I'm sorry to moan and sound dramatic when a lot of you are going through far worse, but i'm just getting so upset about things. We're young, healthy, have been using ovulation prediction kits etc and know when my most fertile times are. We make love throughout my cylce, just to make sure we're catching the right days, and i'm taking the correct vitamins and minerals to support a healthy conception and pregnancy. So why is it taking so long? I know so many woman who are really fertile, and have no problems whatsoever getting pregnant. It's really beginning to get my husband and I down.
The worst thing is, everyone I speak to about this just says "it'll happen when it's meant to" or "if you just stop thinking about it it'll happen" - which of course, is impossible when you want it so badly.
So sorry to ramble on like this. Just really needed to get that out! Does anyone else feel this way too? I'm sure I can't be the only one.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Thanks for all your advice, too. I haven't had a proper exam yet, but think I will try and have one in the next month if I don't get pregnant this cycle.
Can I ask, are you all from the US? I'm from the UK
I've seen quite a few online communities dedicated to infertility and TTC, but this one seems so much more welcoming than some x
