Hi Ladies!!
I am on my first medicated IUI cycle and have a question. I am doing 75 IU's of bravelle once a night. I am on my 6th night tonight (sunday) and I have bloodwork and u/s tomorrow to see how I am responding. The shots themselves have been really easy, I was surprised that they didnt hurt and that I can give them to myself without problem. I am such a baby when it comes to needles that I thought my hubby would have to give them to me for sure :) Glad I was wrong there. So here is my question ... I know I will have to trigger soon, how big is that needle and where does it go?? Thankfully I dont have to do progesterone shots, I have suppositories for that. Now it's just the trigger that I am concerned about. Any advice and/or stories to enlighten me would be greatly appreciated :) We are so excited to finally be getting somewhere and are optimistic that this is our cycle :) Wishing you ladies tons of babydust!!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I had my first IUI this morning and it went well. I go back tomorrow morning for the 2nd one. Todays was intracervical so she put a cap with the sperm right up to the opening in my cervix and it stayed in for about 15 mins. Tomorrow is the actual intrauterine part. I had lots of cramping this morning and I am kinda sore. My Dr said my ovaries are still enlarged and may cause me some discomfort. Tomorrow shouldnt be any better .. lol .. I am definitely taking advil before I go in :) But it is sooooo worth it. The Dr asked me if I would be willing to jump right back into another cycle if for some reason this one doesnt work. I told her absolutely. But this one is gonna work right? So thinking about my next cycle isnt an option! 2ww here I come!!!!!
