Anyone else doing an IVF cycle in November? This will be my first time and would love to have a buddy. I start Lupron Nov. 3rd. If all goes according to plan, may have egg retrieval Nov. 28(ish) and possible transfer Dec. 3(ish)

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Also, I think you usually get a bit more of the Lupron then you actually use, depending on how many days you go before HCG shot. How many units do you have left and how many more days do you think you will be on it?
Roro - are the progesterone pills different from the shot?? If not, I would much much rather take the pill. That shot is intimidating. I'm so glad you're feeling better now!
i'm starting lupron tom night (my dr said night is better) at 20cc. not sure why so high. i think after its going to go to 10cc so i'll need 2 lupron packs. i thought i wasnt covered but someone told me to call the ins com and what do u know? thru mail order its covered so i'm very happy i dont need to spend like 400 box on this.
I hope you have enough lupron LP66 so you don't need to pay for more.
Is anyone using Repronex? This will be my first cycle with it and I am not sure what to expect. I did fine with the Gonal-F, but my estardiol was low the day of ER last cycle so they added the Repronex this cycle.
I sent in my Lupron and Estradiol to see if ins would cover, because it's for suppressing my endometriomas which is an illness. It just so happens to be aiding in the IVF process as well. Wish me luck. If it works I may send in the other prescriptions - never hurts to try, right?
Welcome aboard Krisi!
Hi Krisi! I start my Lupron 11/13, but am estimating my ER to be around 12/4, if I run 3 weeks from start of Lupron to ER like I did my last cycle.
LP66, good luck!
Lioness, I am on 75 IUs of Repronex and it is no biggie. The needles are a bit bigger than the Gonal F (like lupron or Suprefact) but still very doable. You just mix the powder with the liquid really easy.
Coc, I too will be having egg retrieval early next week as long as those darn E2 levels stop going up. Up to 3300 yesterday yikes! But, I do have 17 follies! Yeah!
Good Luck coc! That is so exciting!! Sticky Baby Dust for you! :-)
