Hi girls.....
Just looking for some support, good news, and wanting to feel prepared and ready for this. I am healthy and have no fertility problems. My husband had an issue. We recently had his sperm aspirated and it is now frozen so I cna get ready for IVF. I just went today to set up appointments to meet with a counselor and do shot training. I don't know a lot yet. I have to call in when I get my next period and start the pill on day 3. They will then be going over my IVF schedule with me. I have always hated needles. I have been a pin cushion the last month. I recently had a D&C, a laparascopy, and hyterscopy done to remove a fibroid. I'm excited but nervous. I am really hoping it takes the first time since I am healthy and they say things are fine with me on my end. Looking to share concerns or gain support from others experiences.
Hope to talk to you soon.

Hello Ladies, My name is Michelle and to make a long story short my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 5 years now. After 2 years we decided to see a specialist and after a million test and tries at alternatives we did our first cycle of IVF with a fresh embryo transfer that resulted in a BFNL. hello,my husband and I recently received news that our chances of conceiving on our own are slim at most and the best option for us is to use an egg donor.I understand that this is the best choice but am currently struggling with coming to terms with the fact that with the donated egg there will be no genetic factors of mine and the loss of being able to get pregnant on my own.I wanted to know...
Dont worry about the needles. you will see that they are really not a painful as they sound. To me, its like a bee sting but not as bad! Once you do your first shot, you will be like "why was I so nervous and scared"! Trust me, you will become a pro at it!!!
Well again, Welcome and you will get tons of support here!
I hope you are able to get a BFP your first cycle too! My cousin just had a baby two weeks ago and it was their first IVF attempt.
