My oldest sister can't have children either, she has 3 stepkids though. Anyway, she has endometriosis(hope I spelled that right?) She has had 3 surgeries to correct this. After the last surgery they said that she should be able to have children. That was 5 yrs ago. A couple of years ago she started having extremely painful periods, her dr. recommended a hysterectomy. Our mother talked her out of it b/c she said "I have a grandchild in there somewhere" Well yesterday she started having horrible pains again in her lower stomach. I mean REALLY PAINFUL!!! She was doubled over in the floor this morning. The catch is that now she no longer has insurance. Does anyone have any advice I could give her? Please anything to help her out. Are there any vitamins or natural remedies that can help until she can go to the dr.
Thanks everyone, I really appreciate any advice you can give. God Bless!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I hope she feels better and will be praying for her. Also, there is a pill for urinary issues called "Uristat" for some reason it helps me sometimes. I think it helps numb some of the areas. You can get it at CVS too.
good luck.
She will need to find a way to get herself covered under insurance if she wants to do anything about it. If the pain doesn't ease up in another day, she really needs to get checked out - the endometriosis can cause adhesions which can cause some other nasty things (like bowel obstructions) that MUST be treated ASAP.
I'm off to post the latest news on the endometriosis treatment front - look for it. It's different than any approach taken so far.
