Has anyone ever went 4 or more months without a period? I have not had a period since I stopped taking metformin back in april or may. I bled for 30 days while on metformin and so I quit taking it. But about a month or more ago I took black cohosh.

I haven't gone that long, I went about 45 days before my RE put me on Provera to make me have a period. Maybe you need something along those lines to "jump start" you.

I went 6 months without a period, for no explainable reason - and that was before my DH and I even started TTC! I went for an ultrasound to rule out PCOS, and the very next day, got my period!

Yes, I've gone probably 5 or 6 months before ttc...since ttc when that happens I take Provera. Have you tried a drug like Clomid or Femara to help you ovulate?

I did. I stopped birth control in Sept. of last year. I didnt have a period until the end of Dec. Then it wasnt until like March that I had one, and then another 3 months or so. I went organic in June and ever since then and since i started taking chasteberry (Vitex) and Dong Quai and raspberry tea, I have been regular.

I stopped taking BCP in August of last year and didn't have a period until Januar of this yr, then I went w/o periods again until the end of July when I found out I had PCOS and my doc gave me Provera to start my period. Metformin has regulated my periods now.....well, it did last month

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
