IF YOU HAVE MALE FACTOR - PLEASE READ THIS...
Hi Girls - I've left other messages regarding this but for newbies or those who didn't get to it here is my story- it might help some one else!!!
My DH was diagnosed with really low sperm count, 5 million with poor motility and a high % of abnormalities. After tests they couldnt find any thing wrong with him. So we figured thats just the way he is and we'll have to deal. We tried for awhile with no luck and he started having other symptoms (always hot, irritability, and some eye issues) he went to an eye dr and they ended up sending him to a neurologist and finally to an endocrinologist where he was diagnosed with graves disease. Graves is an auto immune disease which attacks your thyroid. His endocrinologists (2 diff drs b/c we went for a 2nd opinion) put him on medication to treat thryoid issue and when i asked about this related to sc they said it had NO RELATION.
My dr. (a gyn/re) thought it might be related though, she said ANY ISSUES WITH THYROID CAN HAVE EFFECT ON FERTILITY. So DH has been on medication for about 4 mos. Thyroid is normal now and now his sperm count is up to 35 million with normal motility and abnormal %.
So my advice is if you have male factor - get his thyroid checked!!!! some times it can just be a little out of whack without obvious symptoms but could be effecting fertility.
We haven't gotten pregnant yet but I certainly feel much more positive than before!
I hope this helps some one else!!!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
My husband did have a very high fever as a baby. It caused deafness in one ear, but the urologist said that didn't have any impact even though I have read it in several places.
