I start my very first injections tomorrow. I am so nervous! Not so much about the shot itself, but worried that I don't know what I am doing. I think I'll call the IVF nurse to ease my mind.
Any suggestions on where to give it? I think I'm gonna go w/ the tummy. That's the fattest area on me so it can't hurt too bad!

I chose my tummy because when I pinched up the skin on my leg it hurt more. I had no problem giving them there. Good Luck!

I also did the tummy. I tried it in my leg one time and it stung so bad I could not do it again. My first shot took me over a hour to do, I would freeze up and just could not do it. Finally I relaxed enough and counted to 3 and just did it, it was nothing! It might itch a bit, but that is normal.

I did my first one this morning. It took 30 mins! I barely felt it, but it did itch for about an hour afterward.

I do Lupron in my leg in the am and Gonal F and Menopur in the tummy at night. The Menopur stings quit a bit and the Lupron itches while going in, but none of them are too bad. Good luck and let us know if you have any questions!

hi glad it wasnt too bad, the tummy doesnt hurt as much as the leg but i wasnt brave enough to do it there, i had a very sore leg for a month also ask your doctor for a auto jector its so much easier you press a trigger and it shots the syringe in for you, you dont need to be as brave then, good luck

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
