Ok, so I have a bunch of questions....just ones that have been going through my head for the past few days and I need to blurt them out.
Has anyone ever been pregnant naturally with no drugs, just plain old sex and also gotten pregnant with IVF? Are the symptoms different?
With IVF, does implantation take place after the transfer when the embryo's attach to the uterine lining or does it happen before transfer when they fertilize the eggs?
Do the follow up blood tests after transfer but before PT test help in knowing if things are moving forward nicely for a BFP? Meaning, if your blood tests come back good does that mean they can tell if you are headed towards being pregnant or no? Could it be the same levels if you were going to get your period? I just winder if they could tell before the PT if things aren't looking so good. Hope that one makes sence.
Anyone ever just had slightly sore boobs after IVF and gotten a BFP or were they like extremely painful to the touch?
If anyone can share their experiences I would love to hear!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I havent had IVF so I cant tell you that part.
My second pregnancy I had just gotten off the pill the month before so I think that might have helped regulate me. With that one I felt like I had the flu, I was really tired and very moody and took a test and that was it.
Good luck Geen :)
With IVF, implantation takes place after the transfer, but the exact timing can be different too. I noticed implantation "cramping" (not all of my friends felt this, by the way) about 5 days before my pregnancy test (approximately 9 days after a day 5 transfer for me).
I didn't have any follow up blood tests immediately following my transfer until my Beta (to confirm pregnancy) about 2 weeks after the transfer. They did two more blood tests after that to confirm that my HCG levels were rising appropriately (indicating a viable pregnancy). HCG is not present before your period, but the trigger shot that they give you before the egg retrieval is full of HCG, so that's why they have you wait about 2 weeks before the pregnancy test (to make sure that the HCG from the shot is out of your system). I don't know if these are the tests you are talking about though!
My boobs were only slightly sore after the transfer and not sore at all a few days before my Beta. I've always heard women saying how sore their breasts are immediately after getting pregnant, so this had me concerned, but turns out everyone is different.
I hope that all this information helps you! My main symptom before getting my BFP was being more tired than usual.
