So, I went and had my first ultrasound on Friday to see if we can start our first IUI cycle. Got the call that afternoon that the drugs were ready to be picked up. So, I called the pharmacy and they said that they needed the authorization # from my insurance company. So, I called the insurance co, got the number, called back the pharmacy and gave it to them. So, come to find out that only 1 med (Clomid)out of the 4 that I was supposed to pick up, my insurance is covering! So, I try to call back the insurance co. to figure out what is going on and the lady on the phone is so rude, making it sound like I am putting her out to do her damned job! So, of course, by now I am in tears and she can't seem to help me and her attitude sucks. And my opinion is You know that I am in infertility treatment why don't you try to have some damned compassion! So, I call back the fertility center to find out that the drugs are about $200 without insurance (not too bad) but they suggest just getting the Clomid and trying to work out the insurance thing on Monday. Thank God for the lady at the fertility center as she got me calmed down and made everything seem better. I guess they have a lot of experience dealing with emotional women. :)
So, I will wait to hear what the outcome is today. I just felt like the rug was about to be taken out from under me. And I have to wonder why something that seems to come so easily to so many people has to be SO hard for others. I don't think that anyone gets it unless it has happened to them as well.
Sorry for the long rant. It doesn't help that I rear ended some guy on the way to work this morning. At least we were both fine and his car had no damage.

Man, it sounds like your weekend has been just awesome (total sarcasm). I am so sorry that happened. I would have asked to talk to a supervisor. That's what I always do when I get difficult peopl on the phone. There is no reason anyone should be that way, it is their job!

I agree - If the person you were dealing with was rude you shoudl have asked to speak with someone else. The pharmacy that my insurance carrier uses has an actual dept that deals with infertility drugs which is relaly helpful because thay are more compassionatte. I am sorry you had to go through this and hopefully you find someone who can give you some answers!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
