I always see how most of you say that the injections arenot that bad--But I am only on my 6th day and I don't know how much more I can take. I absolutly can not give them to myself and I freak out while dh gives them to me. I ice the area for about 10 minutes before. Am I doing something wrong? I can't imagine what. I think I am just the biggest baby ever. I know it will be worth it when we get our BFP, but for now it sucks!!!!! Anyways enough of my rant..I am just in the whole it's not fair state of mind right now.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
One big NO NO is NEVER stick the needle in the vial twice and then try to stick it in you OR NEVER start to stick it in you, pull out and then do it again. Every time the tip of the needle pokes into something it dulls it A LOT.
What meds are you taking? Any you have to mix and draw? If so, I use a needle to do all that, then I change the needle (just the needle) and use that to inject it in me.
Finally, pinching the skin too hard (as you might be doing if you're nervous) actually made it more painful for me. I loosely grab a big fold of skin, pull back a bit and plunge the needle in at a right angle (directly in, straight down), and treat it like a dart--the faster the better. I then release the flesh a bit so that the liquid has somewhere to go (if you are pinching too much, it compresses things which make it hard for the liquid to find a spot and you will feel it more).
I hope that helps. I was really scared the first couple of times, but got over it, and I always reward myself afterwards with a treat--some nice tea and cookies or a movie I want to watch to get my mind off everything.
good luck! It will get easier once you find a system that works for you.
GOOD LUCK!!!! I know it sucks and I feel for you!!!
Again thanks sooooooooo much!!!
