What would you NOT do that you see other parents do? And why do people with children think we have no common sense? There are plenty of things that we will never truly know about until we have our own, but there are SOOOO many things I see people do with their children that I would never do. A great example is when my BIL brought my niece over for me to babysit and he said that she has a double ear infection, but she already had her medicine. I said that was a shame because I was gonna put her under the sprinkler. He said that was okay, she was under the sprinkler yesterday. And this is an exact quote: "She can't get any worse." Now, if it was MY child, I the LAST thing I'd do is put a child with an ear infection under a sprinkler! But I don't have any children, so I must not know what I'm talking about.
