My husband has to give me every night a 100mg/ml =2cc shot and this is the second time that over night the hip gets swollen, red and hurts like crazy. As the day goes on I can barely get up from the sofa or move without being in bad, bad pain.
Any suggestions? Is my husband doing something wrong?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I did notice that if my BF gave them anywhere outside of a specific area on my upper bum, then they hurt a lot. There is a very specific area they should be done. I guess if you drew a big plus sign on your cheek it would be in the upper, outer quearter, if that makes sense. Also, if he injects them slower it gives the med a little more time to get in and move around, that is part of why rubbing helps.
good luck! I will be starting them again any day now and am not looking forward to it.
My doctor believes in the shots, wants them in the evening, and always in the hip area. What I was told to do was run hot water over the Progesterone for a minute or so prior to injecting and then apply a warm moist rag to the area for 5 minutes. This really helps and then I rub it some in order to help the meds spread.
Everytime it hurts,I just remind myself that its for my babes. Blessings to you and good luck.
