So I just went to the RE today since it is cycle day one and I am about to start the IUI process. Well due to hyperstimulation he is only doing 50iu of the follistim for 7 days. What has everyone else done? I know I don't want to develop several cysts again but is it too little? He said that if by next Thursday nothing has developed that he will increase to 75iu for a few days. Anyway...any advice is welcome since I'm new to the IUI process. It would be amazing if it was my one and only time but I can't be unrealistic.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
GL to you!
I think of you don't have high FSH, and considering your age I wouldn't anticipate that being your IF issue although it can happen, I think you shoudl try one cycle and see how you respond on the 50 units per day.
When I did my first cycle I only did 225 units at night and then that only produced one egg. So, I would see how you respond the first cycle and then talk about any adjustments with your RE for the following month.
GOOD LUCK!
