Hi DS ladies!
As many of you know, I am in the middle of my first IVF cycle. I was scheduled for this Monday, but due to high E2 levels it looks like ER will be on Tuesday or Wednesday. In preparation I booked off all of next week, with the idea that I would have plenty of time to rest after Monday's ER and Thursday's ET. Now that ET may not be until Saturday, what do you think I should do? Should I go back to work on Monday or take that day off? What about Tuesday? How many days are you planning on taking off after ER and ET?
Thanks for your words of wisdom!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
It's probably good to take more days off to rest after the ET - i just couldn't bc of work and honestly the time alone at home was driving me crazy.
Good luck!
I had taken the week before that off b/c I thought that was when I would be going for ER. Silly me...
But, to answer your question, if ET is Saturday, I would think you would be okay to go back to work Monday. Some doctors tell people they need to do 3 days bed rest. Mine did not. Just said to keep my heart rate down, no heavy lifting or heavy exercising, etc.
Good luck! I am glad you are still able to move forward with this cycle. Sticky Baby Dust for YOU! :-)
As it turns out, my ER will be (probably) this Saturday, with my ET either Monday or Wednesday (3 or 5 day). I am taking that whole week off, since it is Thanksgiving week anyway, and I have family coming down on Tuesday evening. I figure that I will take the day of ET to rest at home, then take Tuesday for myself (going to a movie or something), then entertain the fam.
