Okay I know this is random and probably total common sense....I know there's the 2WW, but how does this work....If I have my ET on the 10th, does that mean I do a home pregnancy test on the 24th? Does the doctor have you come in at some point for a beta blood test too or something? I just am trying to figure out if I am going to not test until I get back home (we are going to my parents-out of town-for that whole Christmas weekend), so I am so scared I will find out bad news and it could ruin my holiday....or find out great news, but it will be so hard to keep my mouth shut and not tell them. What do docs do for testing and when? Thoughts?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I am in the same boat as you. I will probably be due to test around 12/23 or 12/24. I am thinking if they tell me to come in on 12/26 b/c they are closed or something, then I will do a HPT and if it is positive then I will know I am and if it is not then I will assume my body just has not built up enough hormone to be detected yet, hold on to hope and get through Christmas as best I can.
I am praying we both get BFP and we both find out before Christmas so we can share the excitement with out families! :-)
Good luck! I'll be prayin for you to get your holiday wish!
My only suggestion is not to test prior to day 10. I read that the HCG trigger can stay in your system from 10-14 days depending on your metabolism. Which means you could have false +. I would actually wait till day 12, but do what you feel is right for you. Baby blessings to you.
