Before I startthank you for this website and for all of you (although the world would be much better for all of us didnt have all these issues)!!!!
Can anyone of you, who has a high FSH level (>10), tell me if you have been able to conceive and what methods were used (IVF, IUI, naturally).
I am 29, FSH level 12.5, everything else on my side is normal based on tests. There are some minor sperm issues with DH.
After one failed IVF the RE is telling us that its pretty much my eggs and that based on my FSH level I will go into menopause in the next 5-6 years.
Also that the IVF failed most probably b/c of bad quality eggs ( I had 9 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized with ICSI, only 3 good to transfer on day 3: 1x6 cells, 2x4 cells all good grades) and.you know the outcome: BFN!
The RE told us that the results are not bad enough to go straight to donor eggs but also not good enough to tell me it will work with the next IVF.
Is it really as bad as it is? Maybe I just dont want to face the reality and now I am looking for some success stories with high FSH level
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

Anyhow, I was only producing one egg every month with clomid and I tried 5 IUI's before I went to 50 mgs of clomid for 5 days combined with follistim 200 IU's every other day and when I got 6 eggs they decided to do IVF incase that didn't happen again and I'm pregnant now.
My doctor to me that the two embryos they transferred were from good quality eggs. He basically said that two eggs most likey wouldn't have fertilized, divided and become embyos otherwise.
I hope this helps you. Good luck!!
And YES, this is a story i was hoping to hear!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
I am in SoCal and i go to HRC - one of the bigger clinics here in Orange County.
My RE told me that there isn't much to be done on the quality, maybe just put me on even stronger stims (and i was alredy on a pretty strong protocol)so we can get more eggs and hope that most of them would be good to inject with sperm.
