Hi- has anyone used this and could you please tell me your side effects? Did it make your skin breakout? I will be starting it this month w IUI. The doctor said we are only going to do 2 rounds. EEK. nervous.

I used it my last IVF cycle, 225 units every night. I don't think it made me break out. The only side effects I remember is from all the follicles. I was on it for about 10 days.

I've used Gona-F for the past 4 treatment cycles (with IUI the last 3 times). I'm moving on to IVF - again I'll be using Gonal-F. I had no side-effects I noticed other than the ones we want - increased ovarian activity, which also means increased ovarian sensation - and some ovulation pain (given the number of follicles and the amount of fluid that accumulated in my ovaries). The pen is very easy to use - and relatively painless. I do ice the spot for a few minutes before injecting, but it's not bad (and I was initially a total wimp about the whole thing). I didn't notice any change in my skin. I had a bunch of awful side-effects on some of the other meds, so I was really relieved using the Gonal-F. Good luck! I was also on Gonal-F for about 10 days. The only side effect is you get bloated toward the end from all the follicles!

I used Gonal F and I broke out (felt like I was going through puberty all over again). I also felt bloated and gained some weight. I dind't have to take a lot. I didn't ice myself, but probaby should have - didn't really hurt, but I had bruises all over my belly

I didn't break out at all and didn' have any side effects really other than the usual irritableness.

My first day today of taking it, 150 units twice a day. Gave me insane migraine, we couldn't even go to the Halloween party we had planned going to. Hopefully it's just the first couple of days trying to get used to it.

I just used gonal F I didn;t have any skin irritations good luck.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
