Okay, this may sound weird, but the last few months I noticed this funny smell, mostly from my hair, but only after I ovulate and when I was taking Progesterone and Estrogen. It is like an oily smell. My hair is very clean, so I don't know what it is. The only thing I can think of is the hormone increase after ovulation and from the meds. Has anyone else ever noticed this???

Yes, that could be true. My friend said that when she did her treatment in hormone.

It is grossing me out b/c I shower at least once a day and wash my hair almost every day. Last week when I was away I was washing it twice a day. Sometimes I try to give it a day off b/c I have fine, blonde hair and it needs a break. But it should not smell funny. It has to be hormones b/c it is only right after ovulation and when I was taking meds.

I am no expert, but I makes sense that the hormones may have an impact. I know when taking a multi vitamin, the smell comes out in your pores. I really wouldn't be concerned, but ask your Dr the nest time u see him

My hair seems to get dirty/oily extremely fast...like within 8 hours of a shower. Only since I started the progestrone though, otherwise I can go a full 24 hours (maybe 36 on a lazy Sunday) no problem between hair washings. I haven't noticed an odor yet though. Now, I am going to start smelling my hair!!

I have oily hair and like auntie it gets oily quickly. I was telling my hairdresser about it and she told me to cerry baby powder with me and to put alittle bit in when I see it getting oily. Hopefully that will help with any smell, aslo bath and body works have spry for youe hair, My sister use to smoke and used it after she would have a cig. Hope this helps!!!!

That is funny, my hairdresser said the same thing about the baby powder. She said sometimes when they do up-do's they tell the women not to wash their hair that day b/c it helps the curls stay better, but they will use a little baby powder on it.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
